This is a differentiated assessment aimed at reviewing student understanding over the Energy and Energy transfers module. It is aimed at being given to year 9's for their first assessment, but is easily adaptable to other year groups.

 

This assessment has 2 main parts:

Multiple Choice -

This is designed to be given to both foundation and higher students, to get them used to the multiple choice style questions that are rumoured to be in the new style exams. These are based on the old style multiple choice questions.

 

Short and Long answer questions -

This part is differentiated and comes with a higher and foundation section. Each of these parts are worth 30 marks each, and assess on a wide range of skills including rearranging mathematical formulae and QWC (HT only). 

 

This resource is designed to match my line of lessons, so may slightly differ to the lessons that you have taught. Please check the questions that are in the paper.
